Indoor / Outdoor training mode toggle
Let IntervalCoach know whether a session is done indoors (smart trainer) or outdoors, and tailor the workout to that environment.
Indoor mode would lean into what a trainer does well:
- Shorter, more tightly structured intervals (ERG mode lets you hit exact power)
- More on-screen coaching cues during the workout (e.g. messages shown on Zwift mid-interval)
Outdoor mode would stay flexible — wider power ranges or HR targets and longer, less rigid efforts that survive wind, terrain and traffic.
Ideally this is a per-day preference (e.g. Tue/Thu = trainer, Sat/Sun = outside) so the planner can place precision interval work on indoor days and flexible endurance work on outdoor days.

This has shipped! You can set an Indoor / Outdoor preference under Settings → Training, or simply tell Coach+ ("set me to indoor" / "I ride outdoors"). Indoor favours shorter, trainer-friendly intervals; Outdoor favours sustained efforts with fixed-step ramps any bike computer can follow.

I would love to get the
part as well.
E.g. On Tuesdays I can only do an indoor session.
Would be nice if I could set the general bias to outdoors, and in the schedule adjust Tuesdays to prefer indoor sessions.
This would be a more automatic option of https://feedback.intervalcoach.app/p/indoor-or-outdoor-per-session-with-a-switch-on-the that you already proposed as a separate feature request

Hi Philipp, agreed, and you have described it exactly the way I want to build it: a general bias in Settings, and a per-day override in the training schedule, so the planner puts the precision interval work on your Tuesday and the flexible endurance work on the days you are outside. That per-day setting does not exist yet. What exists today is the global bias, the indoor/outdoor toggle on TrainNow, and on the new full-page session view (Settings → Beta) a switch to flip a planned session between the two. The per-day preference is the foundation the per-session switch you linked builds on, and yours is the third request for it, which moves it up my list. No date yet.
I have given it its own entry on the roadmap so it can collect votes separately from the per-session switch: Indoor or outdoor per day in your training schedule.
