The Agent Log: why your coach made each call

The Agent Log is a running record of every decision IntervalCoach made on your behalf β€” and the reasoning behind it. Find it via the brain icon (Agent Log) in the sidebar. It's available on every plan.

What you'll see

Entries are grouped by date. Each one shows a type icon, a one-line summary, a timestamp, and β€” where relevant β€” a Push / Moderate / Rest decision badge. Tap an entry to expand it.

The kinds of decisions logged

  • Daily readiness β€” the signals that mattered (recovery, sleep, HRV, load) and why today's recommendation came out the way it did.

  • Workout selection β€” the chosen session, alternatives that were considered, and any adaptation that was triggered.

  • Weekly plan β€” the week's type, TSS target, intensity sessions, and phase.

  • Phase transitions β€” when and why your training phase changed.

  • Load adjustments & adaptations β€” when the coach scaled a session up or down, what changed (planned vs actual), and why.

  • Post-workout analysis β€” how effective the session was, whether the difficulty matched, and what it means for next time.

  • Plan regeneration β€” when the plan was rebuilt, with the exact diff (what moved, shortened, dropped, or stayed).

Going deeper

Expanded entries include the context behind the call β€” your phase, Form (TSB), and fitness (CTL/ATL) at the time β€” and a collapsible agent trace showing the inputs and reasoning steps. It's the answer to "why did it do that?" whenever a recommendation surprises you.
