Customizing and editing your training

Editing and moving workouts
Edit upcoming planned workouts directly in IntervalCoach β change sport, duration, TSS target, intensity, move them to another day, or delete them before they're generated. Once a workout is on your Intervals.icu calendar you have full control there too (drag, edit intervals, adjust duration, delete). You can also move your goal event date in Intervals.icu. IntervalCoach reads these changes and adapts.
Adding your own workouts
Two approaches:
Named events β add an Intervals.icu event named starting with 'Ride', 'Run', or 'Swim' (e.g. "Ride - Group ride 90 min"). Include duration for accurate load planning.
C events β for regular group/club rides, add a C-priority event. The AI won't generate a structured workout that day, keeps the day before easy, and plans recovery afterward. C events can be recurring.
Training twice a day
In Settings β Training you can configure multiple sessions per day. The AI generates a separate structured workout for each β e.g. a morning run and an evening ride.
Changing sport preferences
New workouts respect updated settings, but workouts already on your Intervals.icu calendar aren't auto-deleted β IntervalCoach respects existing events. To clean up: delete the old sport's workouts in Intervals.icu, then hit Rebuild Plan on the Training Plan page.
Coaching memories and custom instructions
Both are used everywhere β daily workouts, weekly plans, JustTrain, and Coach+ chat. Custom instructions are written by you in Settings (standing orders like "keep weekday rides under 90 minutes"). Coaching memories are created automatically β during Coach+ chat when you mention a preference or constraint, and during post-workout analysis when patterns emerge. Review and delete either in Settings.
