The setup wizard: your first run-through

The first time you sign in, a short setup wizard walks you through everything IntervalCoach needs to start coaching you. You can skip most steps and change anything later in Settings.

What it covers

  • Welcome β€” a quick explainer of how IntervalCoach works.

  • Your training goal β€” choose a race, a fitness goal, or manual mode.

  • Goal details β€” pick or confirm your goal event (or set phases yourself in manual mode).

  • What you train β€” your primary sport, plus any others.

  • Fitness target β€” set your CTL target for the goal (with an optional FTP target). Skipped if you have no race goal.

  • Training schedule β€” which days you train, how many sessions, and how long. See Set your training schedule.

  • Recovery tracking β€” optionally connect Whoop.

  • Data connection check β€” confirms your Intervals.icu connection is healthy.

  • Email preferences β€” when and which emails you'd like.

  • Meet Coach+ β€” a look at what the AI coach can do.

  • You're all set β€” a recap and a link to your dashboard.

Nothing here is permanent β€” every choice lives in Settings (or the Training Plan page for your schedule) and can be changed whenever life does.
