Set your training schedule: days, sports and durations

Your training schedule tells IntervalCoach which days you train, which sport (or sports) you do on each day, and roughly how long. It's the backbone of every weekly plan and daily workout.

Where to find it

It lives on the Training Plan page, in the Training Volume section β€” not in Settings. Use the Edit Schedule button there to open the editor.

What you can set

  • Training days vs rest days β€” mark which days of the week you want to train.

  • Sport per day β€” choose the sport (or sports) for each training day, so IntervalCoach plans the right kind of session.

  • Duration per day β€” set how long you have available, so workouts fit your real schedule.

How IntervalCoach uses it

Your weekly TSS target is distributed across your training days, and each daily workout is shaped to the sport and duration you set. Rest days are protected β€” IntervalCoach won't drop a session onto a day you've marked as off.

Changing it later

Update your schedule whenever life changes. New settings apply to upcoming weeks; days that already have workouts you've started aren't disturbed. For how this feeds into the bigger picture, see Weekly plans and daily workouts: how it fits together.
